Latest News Adult Rugby A Legend Returns - Joe Carbery Snr

Joe Carbery Senior, described by some as a Legend of Athy Rugby, is visiting Athy for 10 days from his home in New Zealand. He is the father of Club Y.D.O. Joey Carbery, and grandfather to future star, Joseph. He was a stalwart of the Athy teams which won back-to-back Anderson Cups in the 1980's. He hopes to be in the clubhouse next Tuesday night for any old acquaintances who want to catch up on old times over a drink.
