The club welcomes all new players, coaches and supporters.  We have a goal of introducing rugby to everyone in the Athy area, whether as a member or player, supporter or sponsor. Come on out and get involeved.  Athy RFC prides itself on being a fun and friendly club as well as a competitive one. We host a variety of social events throughout the year from informal members nights to the semi formal dinner dance. Joining Athy provides the opportunity to make great friends in a fun and friendly rugby environment. We already have 200 playing members who are spread throughout all our teams, from the first team down to our under 10's and close to 100 non playing members.  Any player of any level should contact the club when moving to the south Kildare area.  Everyone is welcome to join Athy RFC at any point during the year. We currently field 3 senior sides and youth teams from under 20's down to under 10's, but we are always looking for more players! People of all skill levels are encouraged to play and to excel at rugby. If you have never set eyes on a rugby ball before, but are looking for a challenge, we will be happy to teach you the game!
